Do you want to work for our independent media company?

We want ambitious, hard-working broadcast journalists who are familiar with the editorial tone of Second Captains and who are interested in joining our production team (in all roles) for our World Service broadcasts, our live events and also our RTÉ Radio 1 show (which airs in July and August).

Basic responsibilities will include generating stories, pitching ideas and writing briefs. An in-depth knowledge of sport is a benefit but not a necessity. We’re looking for smart minds to help us across all our programming, not just in sport.

We’ll expect you to have an understanding of the media landscape (across all platforms) in Ireland and abroad, and to have some journalism or production experience.
