Episode 866: David Auerbach On Trump’s Trip, Will He See Out His Term?
Donald Trump has spent the week touring the world having impossibly awkward interactions with almost everybody he meets.
Part of the problem is that since he nearly dislocated the arms of Japanese PM Shinzo Abe and Supreme Court nominee Neil Gorsuch with his alpha-male handshake, everybody has got wise to Trump’s handshake game and has developed countermeasures.

It’s getting to the point where all Trump can do is walk away without offering a handshake at all.

These comical scenes have hardened the consensus in the European media that Trump must go. But how is it going down back home in America?
David Auerbach (@auerbachkeller ) is a writer and software engineer who has been doing a diary of the Trump presidency which you can access here .
We talk to David about the outlook for Trump, whether he is the source of America’s problems or just a symptom, and whether his removal at this point could even improve things as much as many people seem to think.
