Dublin paraded the Sam Maguire trophy in the square in Smithfield on the city’s Northside last night, and the man leading the celebrations was Kevin McManamon, now a 5-time All-Ireland winner.

He joins us on today’s show to talk about making an impact, sports psychology, being an elder statesman, and feeling like you can’t get enough of that winning feeling.

And we’re joined on the show by Murad Muhammad – at one time a security man for Muhammad Ali, but latterly a boxing promoter of one of the strangest fights in boxing history, when HBO televised a fight out of Rahway State Prison between prisoner and ranked fighter, James Scott, and contender, Eddie ”The Flame” Gregory.

Plus there’s a chance for us to commemorate Ken’s contribution to St Judes GAA club, why talking about the ref is a mug’s game, and why Jim McGuinness is right about Mayo’s need for cynicism and wrong about the blanket defence option.
