Barcelona made easy work of Chelsea, with a Messi performance so stylish that it left even the defeated manager Antonio Conte moaning with pleasure.

It leaves us with a classic-looking CL last eight, which Manchester United will feel sore about missing out on. At least their failure continues to be more fascinating than the success stories at many other clubs.

One phrase we’ve been hearing a lot in the United post-mortem is: “the game has moved on.” What does this actually mean? And if the game has moved on, why won’t Jose move with it?

Then we’re joined by Miguel Delaney and Rory Smith to fawn over Messi’s performance and wonder how secure Chelsea’s hold is on their status as one of the top clubs in Europe.

Plus there’s Murph theory on the speed of the Eddie Jones apology, and Ken has some fond rugby banter memories.
