Episode 1152: Liverpool Can’t Lose… Can They? Real Ride Their Luck, And Damien Browne In Studio After Rowing Across The Atlantic
Liverpool lead Roma 5-2, going into their Champions League semi-final second leg tonight… so why does everyone feel so on edge? Facing questions about his assistant coach possibly leaving for Arsenal, Jurgen Klopp has looked under rather more pressure than that scoreline would suggest.
Get over tonight, and they’ll face Real Madrid, who once again rode their luck shamelessly in overcoming Bayern Munich last night. Ken has some harsh words for Robert “The Wraith” Lewansdowski, and the treacherous James Rodriguez.
And the last time we spoke to Damien Browne, the former Connacht second-row, he was in the Canaries, preparing to embark on a row across the Atlantic that, he hoped, would bring him as close to the edge of human endurance as he could get.
He’s in studio today to tell us just how close to that he came, what he learned, and what it’s like to be on a boat as it’s capsizing in the middle of the ocean.
