For many people, World Cup rest-days are a time when you can re-connect with family and friends, a chance to mend fences, and generally act like an ordinary human being again. Or, if you’re Murph, it’s a time to double-screen u-21 hurling games at 7.30pm in the middle of a heatwave.

And the GAA is our World Cup methadone today, as we discuss Donegal’s decision to query just why Dublin have two home games in the Super 8s, when everyone else only gets one. And surely Jim Gavin will see the light and help Donegal out on this one?

We also look ahead to the Round 4 qualifiers this week, which will decide the final makeup of the last 8, why Cork will react but it won’t be enough, and why Tyrone are trying to try to change.

Ken reports live from Nizhny Novgorod, where he is attending France/Uruguay tomorrow, and while he’s there he explains what Uruguay baby football is like, how the media works, and why so many people are surprised that Gareth has done his homework.
