Episode 1275: The Sheedy Sequel, Horan Closes In, McGregor’s PR Masterclass, Ryder Cup Preview, Niall Horan Rock N Roll
Eoin is back, and, after two weeks in Seattle WITHOUT ANY SPORTS EVENTS TO ATTEND, he is now a more well rounded human being.

Liam Sheedy’s last game in charge of the Tipperary senior hurlers was the 2010 All-Ireland final, when he and his team denied Kilkenny a five-in-a-row in one of the greatest games ever played.
In a surprise development, he’s back in the job, and it continues a theme of GAA managers being unable to resist the lure of a return to the hot-seat, with James Horan mulling a return in Mayo too. Oisin McConville and Tipperary-based journalist Damian Lawlor are on hand to discuss.

And as Ryder Cup week begins, we talk to Alex Myers of Golf Digest about why the US, with big man on campus Tiger Woods in charge, really should win this, and why we really, really love the Ryder Cup celebrity match.
Correction: In an earlier version of this story, the author noted that Tiger Woods is “totally, completely, unequivocally, and utterly done.” In fact, he is not.
We regret the error.https://t.co/6ytN8EJpTo — Shane Ryan (@ShaneRyanHere) September 23, 2018
