It’s been a crazy week of managerial in’s and out’s, and in the midst of Mick McCarthy’s arrival, we get the sad news that we have to say goodbye to Joe Schmidt after next year’s World Cup.

Shane Horgan and Gerry Thornley give us the run-down on the ridiculously out-sized impact that Joe Schmidt has had on Irish rugby, and their reaction to the news that we aren’t losing him to another job, but that he has retired from coaching altogether.

Ken’s relentless optimism throws Eoin and Murph, we count our awards after the World Rugby baubles were handed out last night, and Eoin struggles to tell his Andy Farrells from his Robbie Keanes by the end of a hectic 72 hours.
