Episode 1470: Munster And Leinster In The Most Important Pro 14 Game In Years, Carbery’s Audition, TV Guide, Nick Kyrgios Tells All
Munster and Leinster, for different reasons, are absolutely desperate for a win in this weekend’s Pro 14 semi-final at the RDS. Leinster are still smarting from their loss in the European Cup final against Saracens, while for Munster they must believe that their run of losing semi-final appearances has to end sometime.
Plus there’s the fact that last time the two played Leinster lost their cool, and with the RWC coming up, this is a trial of sorts for squad places. Gerry Thornley and Matt Williams are in studio to discuss who has more to lose in an extra-salty inter-provincial derby.
Matt thinks Joey Carbery can put real pressure on Sexton for the Ireland 10 jersey, is Stephen Larkham the man for Munster, and we come up with a plan for the England/Wales/Saracens rush defence.
Speaking of extra-salt, Nick Kyrgios spilled the beans in quite spectacular fashion on his fellow tennis pros, with the main focus of his ire falling on Rafa Nadal and Novak Djokovic.
Kyrgios lays into Djokovic (“I feel like he just wants to be liked so much that I just can’t stand him”) and Nadal (“super salty” following his losses) with more controversial comments on @NCR_Tennis: https://t.co/4GO7rkiDLv pic.twitter.com/NBeDRVUr93

Plus there’s Frances Murphy’s TV guide to the sporting weekend, tensions in the Murphy household, Ronaldo’s lack of education, and Patrick Bamford’s GCSEs.
yes richard keogh’s moves for the derby winner last night have been compared to beckenbauer and pele, but that first time cushioned pass into the striker’s path reminded me of another master #hendo https://t.co/CsmyuIJn31
