Episode 1501: Donegal Dominant, Dublin Dismissive, Kerry Unconvincing – Three Provincial Finals, And The Big Question Around Dublin’s Financial Clout
Donegal, Kerry and Dublin emerged as expected from this weekend’s three provincial finals, and if it weren’t for Cork’s spirited showing in the second half of the Munster final on Saturday evening, there would have been little or nothing to write home about at all.
Much improved from Cork but the bar won’t lower from here on. Can they bring that level of power and performance again? Only six scores from play tonight too. The Kerry situation now is interesting. All the same probs as last year and few enough options to solve them.

Oisin McConville and Mike Quirke take us through the highlights as Donegal continue to show their class, Dublin hammer a severely-misfiring Meath, and Kerry show they still don’t have an answer to the defensive questions they’ve been asked so far this year.
We also discuss just where the money to Dublin goes, and the sources of that money that people should be angry with… and those that aren’t really part of the argument.
Plus there’s Madrid roadworks, Oisin McConville’s athletic DNA, Ken’s solutions to the questions no-one else can answer, sponsors getting bang for their buck, and just when the Leitrim footballers are going to pay their Dublin counterparts what’s coming to them.
