Episode 1606: North South Divide, Stuesday’s Fault, Eddie Jones Under ‘No’ Pressure, Welsh Fortitude, Marathon Man
So we’re not there, but that doesn’t mean the World Cup is over (necessarily) – and who isn’t excited about England/New Zealand, amirite? To gun our engines, we’re joined by human ball of positivity, New Zealand journalist and broadcaster Scotty Stevenson, live from the streets of Tokyo.
And all in the New Zealand garden is rosy – having looked at the Ireland game, Steve Hansen has decided that what this All Blacks team needs is *more* playmakers. And within those team changes, Scotty might just have pinpointed the difference in attitudes between the hemispheres.
Paul Williams of Rugby World Magazine is also with us, as Wales face up to another mammoth task against the Springboks, without their best player Liam Williams.
Plus there’s Ken’s thoughts on Ireland’s lack of rugby skills, is it all Stuesday’s fault, marathon man, and David O’Doherty = Patriot (while the Flight of the Conchords are letting their country down).
