Ep 1650: Jack McCaffrey At The Liberty Hall Theatre, Goodbye Jim Gavin, Enjoying An All-Ireland Final, The US Murph And Mac Bromance
The cold hard fact of it is that Jack McCaffrey is a bloody good Gaelic footballer. 5 All-Ireland titles, 4 All-stars, a Young Footballer of the Year award, a Senior Footballer of the Year Award, and 2 All-Ireland final man of the match awards.
Most important to Eoin McDevitt though, is the fact that he is also a Second Captains world service member, and so when we asked him to come to our end of year live shows in the Liberty Hall Theatre (brought to you in association with O’Hara’s Brewery) he had a number of stipulations – including valuable stage time with Ken Early… and US Murph.
Jack talks to us about Jim Gavin’s departure, enjoying an All-Ireland final, and his medical career, before realising US Murph’s enthusiasm for broadcasting truly knows no bounds.
Plus there’s Murph’s Auntie Mag, 49er merchandise, confused Ken, and boring books on Joe DiMaggio.

It’s independent, commercial-free and member-led with feature interviews, breaking news, Richie Sadlier’s Player’s Chair, The Politics Podcast, and lots of added extras.
After Arsenal made sure to quickly distance themselves from Mesut Ozil’s stance on Chinese persecution of the Uighurs in Xinjiang/East Turkestan, we talk about how Western clubs should approach players expressing their personal views on the subjecthttps://t.co/eLRaPp0paE pic.twitter.com/Crz1i4G246
