Episode 1931: US Murph Is Back As The NFL Hots Up, Donks On Demand, Dr McDevitt
We’re at that point of December where festive cheer is at a low: Christmas is over, we haven’t quite reached New Year’s Eve and boredom has started to set in. There’s only thing for it: the shot in the arm that is US Murph.
Brian tees us up for the business end of the NFL year, with the final games of the regular season about to be played out and the postseason on the horizon. There’s some familiar franchises knocking about but, fittingly for 2020, there’s also one or two surprises.
Brady is in, Belichick is out, and a team we don’t talk about all that much despite being the league’s joint most-successful franchise, the Pittsburgh Steelers, are being led into the playoffs by 38-year-old Ben Roethlisberger.
Plus there’s the return of the donk, the sacking of Rome and US Murph’s most painful memories.
Santa left quite a trail in his wake! Merry Christmas to all, whether with immediate family, longing for extended family, or thinking of family gone by … #MerryChristmas pic.twitter.com/jEFjvQLz5L
