Episode 2005: Leinster’s Sweet 16, Munster’s Hangover, Frances’ Choice, Jack To The Future
Leinster cruised to their 4th Pro14 title in a row last weekend, but have a recent history of stumbling in Europe when the pressure comes on. They’re expected to beat Toulon this weekend, but are they playing the right style to go all the way?
Munster have to pick themselves up off the floor after their display in the final, with the vultures circling around head coach Van Graan. Should he make a radical overhaul to their big game preparations, and has he the ability to make them believe they can beat a star studded Toulouse side? We get the thoughts of Shane Horgan and Andrew Trimble ahead of this weekend’s Champions Cup Round of 16.
And before we run through her viewing plans for this weekend, Frances Murphy would like to clarify some issues relating to her favourite members of Second Captains… but don’t worry she still manages to insult everyone except Eoin.
There’s also an emailer’s thoughts on the group-think afflicting international football. Should we go Jack to the Future?
Plus there’s Saturday night football, Ulster’s debut in the Challenge Cup, Connacht’s ability to hit the high notes and running like Linford Christie.
