The Euros Are Here At Long Last
We’ve been waiting and waiting, and for a whole 25% longer than we usually are, but Euro 2020 is now but a couple of hours away. There’s going to be wall-to-wall coverage every day on the World Service for the next month, so there couldn’t be a better time to sign up. On today’s taster menu, there’s Ken stabbing his brother over a morsel of cheese, the extraordinary pageantry of the Italian squad announcement and some bittersweet memories of Euro 2016.
We chat to English media wolf pack members @MiguelDelaney & @jonawils about Gareth Southgate, the fact that England don’t know their best team, and why Ken can’t see Scotland losing to Englandhttps://t.co/VKiXXB3ytj pic.twitter.com/PlpBPwt64W

It’s independent, commercial-free and member-led with feature interviews, breaking news, Richie Sadlier’s Player’s Chair, The Politics Podcast and lots of added extras. You’ll also be supporting the development of our longer-form work, like our recent international series ‘Where Is George Gibney?’.
Players are no longer taking the knee in a fan-less vacuum, surely booing like Ireland faced last night will only strengthen players' resolve to continue the protest? https://t.co/IcBGPJjq3c pic.twitter.com/A1D1N8PTAD
