Episode 2393: A Dynamite All-Ireland Final, The Clifford And Walsh Show, Ken Returns
It was a classic All-Ireland final, and it was a fitting stage for two of the great individual final performances of all time.
David Clifford scored 8 points to win his first Celtic Cross, and was still almost over-shadowed by the luminous brilliance of Galway’s Shane Walsh.
I know RTE feel they have to have the Man of the Match out of the winners’ hotel and I know it’s all about TV. And obviously David Clifford is incredible. But Shane Walsh was the best player today. We all know this.
