Episode 2431: Tuchel Boehled Out, Potter’s Dilemma, Celtic Ok, Denise O’Sullivan On Ireland’s Journey
Ireland got the job done in Slovakia last night, winning 1-0 to ensure they get a bye past Round 1 of the labyrinthine World Cup playoff route – and the woman who got the vital goal, Denise O’Sullivan, joins us on the show today.
She’s the reigning Irish Player of the Year, a two-time league champion in the US with the North Carolina Courage, and she’s a talent worthy of a World Cup – which we’re edging ever closer towards after last night.
We also discuss Thomas Tuchel’s shock sacking as Chelsea manager, why Ken reckons it was inevitable, whether Graham Potter will be able to resist the lure of the Stamford Bridge dumpster fire and why Celtic can be happy with a 3-0 loss.
