With a big Champions League week ahead we drill down into Antonio Conte’s seemingly hurtful and personal comments on Matt Doherty’s form and fitness.

It’s been a chaotic start to Second Captains’ 90s hip-hop week, some mistakes have been made, but MC devitt is not backing down.

GAA referees have been getting verbally and physically abused for as long as any of us can remember, but when Dr Noel Brick released a report he co-authored earlier this year which outlined that almost 1 in 4 referees had been physically assaulted while refereeing a game, he could barely have imagined the uptick in incidents which was to follow. We speak to Dr Brick, and to recently retired 3-time All-Ireland football final referee Maurice Deegan, about the results of his survey, what referees need in support, and why verbal abuse is the canary in the coal-mine.
