Episode 2691: The Best Of Both Worlds

Another Major weekend rolls into view with the question of whether or not Rory can win his first since 2014 dominating the golfing headlines. Actually, that’s a lie. It’s 2023 so the Headlines are dominated by Saudi Arabia and their gradual take-over of elite sport; including Golf.

Last week as Ireland watched on at the Oireachtas hearings the golf world was glued to the Liv Senate hearings. With a dump of material including emails and Whatsapp messages detailing how the sausage/merger was made. We chat to Lawerence Donegan and Gavin Cooney about all this (and we do also ask if Rory will do it).

Meanwhile, over in football we chat… Saudi Arabia, as Ronaldo comes out swinging in defence of the Saudi League, Denise O’Sullivan reports for training and Branno looks at Shamrock Rovers do-or-die tie in Iceland tonight.
