Stephen Kenny is still the Ireland manager and still polarising opinion as media talk over a potential successor intensifies. Ken reports on an apparently well-informed article in The Examiner about former ROI midfielder and now England U-21 manager, Lee Carsley, being approached by the FAI.

Two days ago at Soldier Field the Green Bay Packers got their NFL season off to a winning start against their hated rivals the Chicago Bears. The match was a milestone moment for Irish involvement in the NFL because it featured Dan Whelan from Enniskerry Co Wicklow, who became the first Irish-born player to play in the NFL since the 1980s. We chat to Brian Murphy, who is on board with the shamrockification of the NFL.

Plus there’s the world’s mysterious obsession with the Dallas Cowboys, geese wisdom, and Ken reviews a new All Or Nothing docu series on the German national team’s fiery failure in Qatar.
