Turkey vs Austria looked like it would be the game of the Round, and so it proved with non-stop action, a deluge, goals, saves, and mayhem in the stands.

Once again Ken chose the right game to be at, and once again he is beside a great journalist; this time it’s Gavin Cooney of The42.

They discuss the sheer entertainment, the winning and losing of the game, Arda’s teenage kicks, Austrian guts, that Mert save (!)  and how passion can win games of footie.

Plus there’s the Netherlands’ easy win over Romania, the Turkish diaspora in Germany and the Quarter Final lineup.
