Episode 3092: A Shels Fest Live From The Gaiety, Arsenal Injustice, Liverpool Give Leverkusen A Lesson
With their league win not yet a week old, we welcomed Shelbourne’s Sean Boyd and John O’Sullivan – complete with enormous league trophy – onto the Gaiety stage last night.
Both players have trodden hard paths to make it to the pinnacle of Irish football. They told us their story and how their manager Damien Duff uses each player’s individualism for the greater collective, and they answer the burning question of just how much of a madman their gaffer is.
We also talk about the midweek Champions League action, including the latest horrible injustice to engulf Arsenal FC, the second-half slaughter of Leverkusen at Anfield and the ongoing struggle of low-energy Kylian Mbappé.
