Paul McGrath long ago secured his place in the nation’s list of all time sporting legends, so it was only right that he should be immortalised on canvas. Last week artist Salvatore of Lucan’s commission of McGrath was unveiled in Room 23 of the Dargan Wing of the National Gallery of Ireland, alongside portraits of Gay Byrne, Edna O’Brien, Shane McGowan and Bono. Ken and Salvatore went along for a look, a think and a chat.

After a decent performance last time out with Ireland, Evan Ferguson returned to club action with West Ham but it wasn’t a good night for him as he mis-kicked a good chance in front of goal. What does the short term future hold for the big man from Meath?

And Eoin talks about his life partner meeting a confident Olympic legend, in a car park.
