Episode 1793: Football With Feelings, Heroic David Luiz, Knees, Knights And Dominic Raab
We all know that meeting an old friend after long separation can feel a little strange. There can be a certain… tension. A hard-to-define awkwardness. Maybe the pauses drag on a little too long. Maybe we both keep trying to speak at the same moment. Everything can seem a little unnatural – before we hit upon that magic moment of connection, and in an instant we remember how things used to be and what we really mean to each other.
So thanks are due from everyone to this hero for making it his mission to break the ice and remind us all of what football is all about, even at the cost of what remains of his Premier League career.

We look back at last night’s football with occasionally reliable insights from Hawkeye and Dominic Raab.
“I’ll take the knee for two people, the Queen and the missus I asked her to marry me.”
Dominic Raab has said he would not ‘take a knee’ in support of the #BlackLivesMatter movement, arguing the protest is a matter of personal choice.
