Jamie Wall was a top class trophy-winning underage hurler and footballer for Cork, when, in June 2014, what started as a pain in his back accelerated within days to a life-changing diagnosis.

He has since become a very successful young coach, leading Mary Immaculate College in Limerick to a Fitzgibbon Cup triumph against DJ Carey and his Carlow IT side, and now with his club side, Kilbrittain.

 

He is also one of the most interesting people currently working in Irish sport, and the latest guest on our new slot, The Game That Changed My Life.
