Jamie Wall was a top class trophy-winning underage hurler and footballer for Cork, when, in June 2014, what started as a pain in his back accelerated within days to a life-changing diagnosis.

He has since become a very successful young coach, leading Mary Immaculate College in Limerick to a Fitzgibbon Cup triumph against DJ Carey and his Carlow IT side, and now with his club side, Kilbrittain.
