James Sugrue won last year’s Amateur British Open and his whole 2020 was planned out – Augusta in April, the US Open in June, and turning pro in July. Then Covid happened, and his best-laid plans were like the rest of us… put on hold.

But he played the toughest course in world golf last week at the US Open, has Augusta in November to look forward to, and has the Irish Open this week too – thanks in no small part to Lee Westwood! Ireland’s next affable golfing superstar joins us on today’s show.
