The dream is all over for Scotland, sadly depriving us of the best chants of the tournament but we did get one of the goals of the tournament from Luka Modric in exchange. Their Group D colleagues England looked impressive at least for the first half last night, and now wait to see who the last 16 will bring.

UEFA have once again fluffed their lines in refusing to allow Germany to light up the Allianz Arena in the colours of the rainbow when they welcome Hungary tonight, a decision which is completely inconsistent with both their own policies and how they eventually treated Manuel Neuer’s decision to wear a rainbow armband.
Munich’s city council has called for the Allianz Arena to be lit in rainbow colors for Germany’s game vs. Hungary.
