Episode 2099: Mona McSharry Makes Olympic History, Rugby 7’s Heart-Ache, Bermuda Love
Mona McSharry’s Olympic story began in the public 25-metre pool in Ballyshannon, fighting for space to swim with pensioners, young lads throwing a ball around, and school kids. From there she’s gotten all the way to this morning’s Olympic final, and as we speak today to Grace Meade, her coach in Ballyshannon, it’s clear Mona has even bigger plans for Paris 2024.
