Episode 2165: URC Big On TV, Ireland’s Form 9 and 10, Berlin Memories
The United Rugby Championship is up and running, and judging by some press releases Eoin has seen, it’s off to a flyer. We note the increased profile terrestrial television has given it, but there are also some things that might need to change in Irish rugby if the only domestic league available to us is to succeed, and whether that might end up being a pretty good result for us.
We thank our Berlin super-fans one more time for our week over there with thanks to Aer Lingus, and there’s also Connacht’s grievances over refereeing decisions which might have gone another way in Thomond Park on Saturday evening.
