After a weekend of dramatic late goals in the Premier League, Everton beat Arsenal 2-1 last night with a goal in added time from Demarai Gray, and everyone at Goodison Park seemed to instantly forget the troubles of the last couple of months.

We ask Shane Horgan and Andrew Trimble which of the Irish provinces have a shot at winning the Champions Cup which kicks off this weekend, if Munster can overcome Covid disruption and want-away coaches to overcome Wasps this weekend, what they make of the often-discussed and rarely seen Harry Byrne, if Ulster over-celebrated against Leinster and if Connacht can cope with the monster packs they will meet in Europe.

We’re not sure how many people fall into the World Service member/white-water rafting enthusiast Venn diagram overlap but if you do, we’ve got some bad news: plans for the rafting facility on Dublin’s George’s Dock have been shelved. We lament another blow for the capital city.

Plus there’s an update to the Peng Shuai story, rugby losing its unique culture, and Eoin enjoying his own podcast.
