After a heartbreaking weekend, we’re joined by the great Michael Conlan today who talks to us about his brutal, dramatic 12th round stoppage at the hands of Leigh Wood in their WBA featherweight title fight last weekend, a stoppage that ended in Conlan being knocked out and falling backwards out of the ring. He tells us where he’s at mentally and physically a couple of days later, and where he wants to go from here.

It wasn’t all that long ago that hopes for a potential three-team title race flared up then collapsed, and all of a sudden the prospect of there being any title race at all fell away as City seemed to be glide away from the pack. Now, in mid-March, Ken thinks Liverpool could become favourites for the league if Liverpool beat Arsenal tomorrow evening.

Plus there’s pleas to forgive Declan Rice, and Murph’s premonition that there’s something unpleasant afoot for Man United tonight.
