Episode 2290: St Anthony, Barca Are Back Baby
So farewell then, Anthony Barry. The visit of Belgium this Saturday gives the Irish people the chance to bid a fond personal farewell to the upwardly mobile conesman, whose work with the national team won universal praise the likes of which few training ground coaches ever receive. Barry’s replacement, John Eustace, will also be at the game.
We discuss some of the news at the beginning of this international week before Sid Lowe joins us to talk about Barcelona’s huge win. Are they actually good now? What are the factors behind the turnaround? Or is the Clasico not as classic as it used to be, and did Chelsea get lucky by pulling Real Madrid out of the Champions League hat for the second season in a row?
Pleased to say one person got the Johnny Cash reference in this week's column. Glad it wasn't wasted. https://t.co/Uyyp5DSBWe
