Episode 2436: Wet Towels, Snow Plows, Long Snappers, Cheatin’ Pats And Losin’ Liverpool
The NFL season is upon us at last, and US Murph is fired up, and ready to go. The first week saw the Buffalo Bills confirm their status as the Super Bowl favourites and we learned a valuable lesson about the importance of the long snapper, the most important, most skilled, member of any team.
There was also the daftest penalty we’ve seen in a long time, as well as the 40-year-old story of the Snow Plow Game when the New England Patriots first displayed their ‘a la carte’ approach to the rule book.
There’s also losin’ Liverpool, wet towels and fast golf.
