Goals win games but they also won the heart of a young Ken Early who sat starry eyed watching the 1989 All-Ireland Hurling Final between Nicky English’s Tipperary and Antrim. On that day in September, a mere 35 years ago, the net was rattled on SEVEN occasions. Ken was hooked. He has wanted nothing but goals since.
