Thank you London! Last night it was our pleasure to welcome Emmanuel Petit to our Second Captains London Branch. A double winner with Arsenal in 1998 before going on to score one of France’s three goals, against Brazil, in the World Cup final that summer.

We discussed Pep the Destroyer of (football) Worlds, an infamous cab ride to Wenger’s house, the good old (not too long ago) days and his turn from one touch goal-scorer to blood soaked fiction writer, and the real reason he left Arsenal.
