We’ve sent Ken on the road again, and this afternoon our littlest hobo beams in from a completely sodden Helsinki. But the inclement weather hasn’t been able to dampen Ken’s newfound optimism ahead of tonight’s Finland match.

The locals are insisting it’s going to be an Ireland win and, in a change of tone from earlier in the week, Ken can’t help but wonder if they’re right. Could we finally put an end to what Heimir thinks is not in fact a losing streak but a ‘downward spiral’?

We also chat to Joe Callaghan about Poch’s new job as manager of the USA. With a big money contract signed and a World Cup (partly) on home soil to look forward to, it sounds like a peachy gig – but can he actually make improvements on the pitch after a disastrous Copa America for the US?

Plus there’s a mysterious Finnish soldier, Four Weddings and a Funeral and… the return of Egomaniacs.
