Give The Gift Of World Service Membership This Christmas
Hello there beloved World Service members!
A lot of you have been getting in touch to see whether there’s a quick and easy way to give your nearest and dearest the greatest gift of all this Christmas – a Second Captains membership. And now there is! If you’d like to spread the love, you just need to be a Patreon member and the recipient of your boundless generosity needs to be new to the World Service or re-joining us.
You can choose to give anything from 1 to 12 months and when the gift subscription is about to come to an end, Patreon will send the giftee an email letting them know – just in case they’d like to stay on as a member. All you need to do is:
1) Go to patreon.com/secondcaptains/gift
2) Hit the ‘Gift’ button and fill in the required details
3) Copy the gift link and send it to your recipient. You’ll also receive email confirmation of your purchase.
And all your beloved needs to do is:
1) Create and log-in to their Patreon account
2) Click on the gift link you’ve sent them
3) Click ‘Claim now’ then ‘Continue’ within 90 days of receiving the gift to start their Second Captains audio stay.
And don’t forget, you can also visit the Second Captains shop for our Euro ’88 t-shirt which is now back in stock.
Click the player at the top of the page to play the show. Monday’s shows are free to all and to listen to our programming throughout the rest of the week, join the Second Captains World Service. It’s independent, commercial-free and member-led with feature interviews, breaking news, Ken’s Football Show, Richie Sadlier’s Player’s Chair, The Politics Podcast, The “I’ll Tell You Who Wrote It” Book Club and lots of added extras. You’ll also be supporting the development of our longer-form work, like our recent international series ‘Where Is George Gibney?’.
