The nation’s mega-sports weekend had one clear-cut, decisive good news story, and that was our rugby team’s 38-3 hammering of South Africa on Saturday evening. After winning their fourth Dublin title in five years, many people expected St Vincent’s to glide into the All-Ireland club semi-finals… but they reckoned without Wicklow champions Rathnew, who gleefully dumped the Dublin champs out yesterday afternoon – we talk to their captain Leighton Glynn.
