He’s the first transgender athlete we’ve had on the show, and he tells us about life since he transitioned back in 2010, appearing on Nike ads and in ESPN The Magazine’s Body Issue, and the atmosphere in America for transgender people today in light of President Trump’s regressive attitudes to their community.
The Trump administration is coming under fire for rewriting a federal rule that bars discrimination in health care based on “gender identity.”
