Sam Bennett hails from two of the world’s cycling hotbeds – Belgium, and Carrick On Suir Co. Waterford – and this year’s Giro d’Italia has been his break out tour, winning two stages so far, the first Irish rider to win multiple stages of a Grand Tour since Sean Kelly in the 1988 Vuelta.
