Leinster and Munster is the most well attended non international fixture in world rugby. It’s the rivalry and the two fan bases the Pro 14 has been built on. And it’s going to be close to a 51,000 sell-out again this weekend in the Aviva.

Eoin Reddan joins us to talk about how weakened teams don’t have to weaken the rivalry, and why players switching from Leinster to Munster only adds to the fixture.

Rape allegations against Cristiano Ronaldo have been out for a week – and there are some people wondering why this story isn’t one of the biggest in world sport. Ken evaluates that, and we ponder Juventus’ strangely worded statement on the matter.

 

Gaelic football is sick, and the GAA’s Standing Committee on the Playing Rules thinks it might have the remedy. We contemplate the rather sweeping rule changes suggested in the company of Monaghan’s All-star defender Colin Walshe.
