Episode 1304: Can Ireland Finish A Gilded 2018 With Four More Wins In November? City Win In Wembley, Ken Rages At Judes Judas
Ireland have had a scarcely believable 2018 – Grand Slam winners, winners of a 3-test series in Australia, coupled with a double for Leinster and an ever-growing pool of players capable of performing at the highest level.
So is this November series now a way to round off an amazing calendar year… or the first steps towards winning the World Cup in 12 months’ time? Shane Horgan and Gerry Thornley are back in harness to preview the next four weekends as Ireland play Italy in Chicago, followed by Argentina, New Zealand and the USA.
Man City beat Spurs 1-0 last night, on a Wembley pitch covered in NFL markings, and cut up pretty extensively by the American football match held there 24 hours earlier. Ken gives us his tuppence ha’penny on that, but he reserves his most cutting analysis for the Dublin senior football final, which saw his beloved Judes beaten by McDevitt’s Kilmacud Crokes… and a lacklustre review of “A Star Is Born”.

Go to PatreonWe show the GAA into our well-appointed psychiatrist’s office, invite it to lie down on the couch, and talk to us about its childhood. Do the faction fights of the 1870s hold the secret as to why there’s so much violence at club matches in the GAA today? https://t.co/AyKNeFyaKs pic.twitter.com/eUgH96H3pa
