Episode 1331: Neymar Makes It Rain, Henderson Handbrake, Spurs Spirit, Fergie V Jose, Rating Robbie
Outclassed and outthought before a celebrity crowd, even Van Dijk having an off-night, Neymar making it rain and then taunting them with a rainbow flick… Liverpool’s trip to Paris turned out to be a whole cup of bitter pills washed down with hot salty tears.
PSG seem to have annoyed a lot of (non-French) people. And that has to be a positive sign for them. As for Neymar, I loved his performance. Fouled relentlessly (only just saw the Van Dijk challenge again, it’s a clear penalty) and, yes, he rolled about. But what a footballer!

Nutmegged your captain, rainbow flicked Shaqiri, celebrates with Allison’s jersey and tops everything up with Firmino’s one eyed celebration.

Spurs kept themselves alive with a win over Inter and will go through if they can beat Barcelona on matchday 6, when the burning question is how to decide which decider to watch.
For further CL analysis we turn to two men of the gloomy North, John Brewin and Jonathan Wilson. Are they on board the PSG carnival train? Can anyone diagnose the problems with Liverpool’s malfunctioning midfield? And is rock & roll wildman Jose simply applying the same man-management techniques that were widely lauded when used by Alex Ferguson?

Plus there’s Sissoko power, Ramos’ shower and Robbie’s years.
