Episode 1445: FAI Board Step Down, Delaney On ‘Gardening Leave’? US Murph On Tiger And The Greek Freak
Just another day in Oireachtas Committee Room 4… as Minister Shane Ross confirms that the FAI have told him the board will step down at or before their AGM in July. Last night, two board members stepped down, and John Delaney stepped aside… and the Company Registrations Office has received a report from Deloitte to say that the accounts of the FAI are not being properly kept.
So what does this all mean? We draft in Angry Dion Fanning of Joe.ie to pick through the latest in a seemingly never-ending cavalcade of bad news stories for the FAI.
US Murph was more than a little bowled over by Tiger’s win at Augusta last Sunday, and we also have time to discuss the possible NBA MVP, Giannis Antetokounmpo as we march into the NBA playoffs.
Plus there’s the Mudlark, credit cards being the ruination of many a man, exit strategies, and we quite rightfully ask – who *hasn’t* been on gardening leave?
